Automatic update function of the mobile application

The aievas® mobile updates itself automatically as soon as a current version is available.

Automatic updates of the questionnaires available on the mobile device

The questionnaires tailored for the units to be tested can be downloaded in advance. If the questionnaire has changed in the meantime, aievas® mobile will report this to its user and offer to load the current version of the questionnaires. Thus, up-to-dateness is always guaranteed even during a longer field phase.

Creation and integration photos

Photos can be taken on site via the camera of the mobile device. These can be inserted into the online questionnaire for the collected criterion and are also transmitted back to the server when the data is transferred.

Site- or scenario-specific questionnaires

Depending on the project requirements, it may be necessary for the questionnaire to be different for each test. This is possible with the aievas® mobile system.

Adaptation of the questionnaire on site

Unforeseen changes may occur during mobile data collection. For example, during an audit, entire areas are closed for remodeling. This was not foreseeable before the start of the test. aievas® mobile offers the possibility to adapt the questionnaire to these circumstances. During transmission, this change is also transmitted and directly taken into account in the subsequent evaluation.

Various mobile devices can be used

For most applications, the use of an MDA with a touch-enabled display is recommended. These devices are handy, have a sufficiently large display that can be easily read and operated by people of different ages. It also has a fold-out full-sized QUERTZ keyboard. Other mobile devices or smartphones can also be used. Only the aievas® mobile software has to be installed.

Data transmission without PC

The data transmission takes place via the radio connection of the mobile terminal. Thus, aievas® mobile can be used everywhere.

No constant online connection required

The mobile device does not have to have a permanent online connection. It is sufficient if the current version of the questionnaire to be completed is downloaded before the test begins and the data entered is transferred when the questionnaire is closed. This reduces the provider’s data tariff costs to a minimum.

Discussion of results directly on site

When, for example in the case of an audit, the data collection is completed and the results have been sent to the server, a report is usually generated. This is transmitted e.g. via fax or also via email to the respective report recipient. Optionally, report generation on the mobile device without data transmission is also possible. Now the results of the audit can be discussed with the site manager directly after the on-site test and, if necessary, supplemented with comments. The final report is then generated.

Live-Reporting

Once data collection is complete and the data is transferred to the server, report users can access the data through an Internet browser. This enables measures to be initiated in a timely manner.

Mobile support via remote access

aievas® mobile enables the external remote access in case of problems on site or if the user has a question. The user can follow the actions on the device. This means that questions can be clarified or functions explained on site without incurring travel expenses for support.
