What does the aievas AG do?

We develop and use a system which collects, processes and evaluates data from many different  sources in a customer-specific way. With our aievas® software, we help companies to find optimisation possibilities for their processes and to use these possibilities for improvement measures. The aim of our software is to increase profitability, productivity and quality in a sustainable way.

How is the aievas AG organised?

The aievas AG is divided into the two sectors development and operations.
Both sectors work closely together and in this way they handle the many different customer projects. Furthermore there are cross-sector project teams, which deal with special assignments and the further development of our products.    
 
The hierarchies are flat. Each employee has the chance to qualify for responsible and more advanced tasks after only a very short period of time. Employees who convince with a continuous good performance will be able to assume more responsibility quickly and can grow along with their tasks in every respect.

Who works for the aievas AG?

Our employees either successfully completed an apprenticeship or acquired an academic degree in  business studies, informatics or in a similar field.
 
Most of our employees are between 25 and 40 years old.

A total of about 20 employees work for us at present and this number is tending to increase. About 10 employees work directly in our headquarters in Burscheid; in addition to that we also have external employees, who work in diverse positions and thereby support our projects.

How is the development of the company progressing?

The aievas AG was founded in 2003. Since then our company has been growing continuously and with a speed which is above average. Meanwhile the aievas® software is already used worldwide on all 6 continents.

Our philosophy is simple and we try to live by it each day. Its most important contents are:
 
We know that we depend on our customers and we act accordingly. Our customers expect timely and precise completions of the tasks assigned to us, great service and comprehensive support for the realisation of their goals. Our products and services are all orientated on a high quality demand, which has to be proved again and again each day. Our employees shall support this goal as best they can.

We know that each employee has different goals and motivations. Therefore we try to connect the goals of the customers, the employees and the company with each other as good as possible.
We work with humans: the way we treat everyone is therefore marked by tolerance as well as respect and at the same time by the demanding and encouraging of professionalism and quality.

What is required from the employees from a comprehensive point of view?

The requirements differ from job to job, however, some characteristics are demanded from all persons who work or would like to work in our company: Commitment which exceeds the average, overtaking of tasks in a responsible way, readiness of mind, learning aptitude, flexibility, preciseness and reliability.

In which form is the vocational adjustment executed?

The vocational adjustment is executed in form of a training on the job. Experienced colleagues guide new employees. In addition to that extra training courses concerning special subjects and ranges of duty take place on a regular basis.

Which career opportunities exist?

The careers in our company are not defined by the job title and the office size. Our employees further development their skills during the projects and by handling these projects. There is only one important factor: the personal performance. Every 3 months all new employees get a feedback  which informs them about their current state and their development prospects. In addition to that consultations, in which the common goals for the following year will be defined, take place each year.  
 
New tasks, requirements and chances occur all the time due to the multitude of branches, customers and projects. This provides a plurality of individual development prospects.

What is the remuneration amount based on?

The remuneration amount is mainly connected to ranges of duty for which the individual employee is responsible and his/her personal performance. In general the remuneration orientates itself on quantities which are customary for the market. A performance which is continuously above the average will be remunerated accordingly by us.

Which employee benefits exist?

The cafeteria principle applies for all benefits: employees can define which benefits they would like to make use of (company car, retirement provisions etc.) and this will be implemented in the framework of the agreed annual gross income if possible.

What offers Burscheid?

Burscheid is located centrally and close to Leverkusen, Cologne, Wuppertal and Düsseldorf. Burscheid is a town with about 35,000 citizens.
Short distances, good sport facilities, closeness to nature, free parking spaces and cheap rents are the main advantages.
 
Shopping streets or night life can be found in Cologne which can be reached by car within about 20 minutes. Other towns are also located closely. Some driving times:
Düsseldorf: 35 min
Wuppertal, Remscheid: 20 min
Leverkusen: 10 min
Bonn: 45 min
Essen: 45 min
 
If you only use public transportation, you better get a flat or house in Leverkusen. From  Leverkusen you can reach the town centre of Cologne or the company within about 15 minutes.

Our company is located at the outskirts of Leverkusen and only a few walking minutes away from the closest bus stop.
